UI / UX

Beyond Art Direction, a core foundation of my career has been designing award-winning UI/UX for games, interactive activities, and digital platforms. To me, interface design is fundamentally an exercise in communication. Great UI should entertain, delight, and push visual boundaries, without sacrificing functional clarity. I love exploring fresh, unconventional design solutions while respecting intuitive conventions that make player navigation effortless.

Built for the Noggin app, the interface focuses on diegetic UI, my favorite approach to game UI. Aside from a minimal outer frame, all UI/UX functions exist organically within the environment as interactive, tappable objects. This eliminates traditional menu clutter and lets young children engage directly with the characters and scene.
